Default Necessary to run fuel filter after pump in Aux pump setup?

I looked at a few vendor fuel systems where they have the aux pump come on with with a hobbs switch.

I see they put pre-fuel pump filters like 100 microns etc... Or a fuel sock before the pump, but nothing after the pump to the rails.

I figure the reason it may not be necessary to put a 10-40 micron filter between the pump and rails is because the system is only used under boost and for a few seconds.

Hoping to get some input as to why most vendors do it this way.

Got my answer, looks like Bosch 044 has an internal 20 micron filter, but the Walbro 255 does not.
