Default A1000 Fuel Line Question

Ok I'm putting an LS1/TH350 in a Fox and I have a 10 gallon fuel cell that came with the car. It has -8 AN fittings coming out of the tank I bought a A1000 with the pre & post fuel filters and they are all -10 AN out. So my question is do I need that big of a fuel line to run to the regulator? I also have the Aeromotive regulator and it has -10 AN fittings. Can I adapter down to a -8 or -6 to go to the fuel rail? I can return the regulator and get a different one if needed.

I would like to run stock LS1 fuel rails and not have to use the billet ones.
