Default HELP Removing Fuel Line From Rail

I'm tackling the job of swapping to a LS6 Valley cover on my '02 TA today and I'm having a seriously frustrating time with getting the fuel line to disconnect from the fuel rail. I used the 3/8 Plastic disconnect tool to remove the metal "fangs" which popped out no problem but the damn fuel line will not come off. Here is a pic for reference:

I can turn/wiggle the fuel line and it moves but I'm afraid to yank and tug on it. Any suggestions?

I got it. I just kept fiddling with the disconnect tool and finally the line slid off.

Yep. I had the same issue. Used a small screwdriver to bend up the containment tabs. Really shouldn't be that difficult!
