my e85 fuel system will it work??
so im in the process of rebuilding my truck for a turbo 5.3l setup
heres what im thinking for e85
-dual 255HP pumps in tank w/ 8an bulkhead
-8an line
-8an inline stainless element filter
-Aeromotive fuel rails
-siemens deka 80# injectors (80# @ 42psi)
-Fuel Lab FPR on return side with 6an return to tank
so im thinking if i bump the base fuel pressure up to say 65-70 i could get close to 100# out of the 80's and im seeing guys going close to 750 on 80's im hoping for close to 725
i would buy bigger injectors but they are all low impedance and ive never looked into running low imp injectors on the stock ecu... what do you guys think

Just throwing it out there. I switched to e85 as well and had twin walbros when I was running gas. called walbro to see if the pumps were compatible and they said no. The guy told me yes the pump will work for some time but they would not recommended it. They had saw failures early as a couple months and some people have them last a couple years. Personally if it was my car I would look at putting a poor mans sump on it if your on a budget and buy a inline pump like a Weldon or Magna fuel. It would suck to cook a motor because of a pump failure. I'm not a forced induction guy but I run 60's on motor for e85. I dint think those 80s are going to cut it especially with that much boost.

You are not going to get high flow & high pressure at the same time.
You are not going to make 70psi pressure plus boost reference at that flow.
If you want750-800rwhp, I suggest 96# injectors & a low 43psi base pressure.
I can set you up with a complete system if interested.

I would definitely go with 96# or bigger injectors but I cant find a high impedance set and im not familiar with what is nessacary to run low imp injectors on the stock ecu. can someone send me a link to a set of injectors that are drop in and go I don't care about changing the pigtails that's not a big deal.
