Fuel pump + sending unit future mods

Fuel pump + sending unit future mods Hey guys,
I have a 00' SS M6 that I Daily Drive to work everyday. The car's SES light is on. I had the codes checked and it says it is a fuel sending unit and air pump for egr. The air pump was fixed but now I have the sending unit. My question is, where can I get a new fuel sending unit and would it be worth it to upgrade the fuel pump while the other job gets done? Car has 100k miles and is driven mostly highway miles. I am thinking it's going to be a bolt on car if that helps.
Any help would be great. Trying to also see if anybody has done the trap door to replace it and if anybody knows of a nice way to finish off the hole once the job is done.
I have searched and read about the trap door, don't need links to write ups.
