Anyone running twin walbro 400's in an Fbody? I wanna run this setup and wanna see if anyone is and if you have a build thread. Please let me know

You were told that for a few very good reasons...

First, they do not fit in a 99-02 bucket.

Second, running too much pump increases current draw & fuel heating... this is why you size your pumps for the actual demand. Why do this if you do not need it? Overkill is not a safety margin in this case, it is just creating more issues that you do not need.

Take a realistic look at your power goals & size accordingly.
Typically twin 255's are good for 1000rwhp & 340's for 1200, conservatively rated.

Just covering my bases, so the upgraded ones should cover the power I'm gonna make and potentially make with the cog setup?

For a typical F1R build, you will likely not exceed 1100rwhp.
In that case, the twin 340's are all you need.

Personally unless you plan to push it to the max output, I would still consider the twin 255's. My builds have proven extremely reliable & street friendly with these pumps. I have had a few hit 1100rwhp on these, but it is admittedly at the limits.
