Lightbulb How to route fuel line with billet fuel rails

Hey guys, I installed billet fuel rails awhile back. Since they didn't have the port on the side like the stockers, I routed my line like this just so I could drive it. How have you guys routed your fuel lines with aftermarket rails? What would be the correct way to route the fuel line with billet fuel rails? Just so it looks a little cleaner than what it is now. Thanks in advance!

This is what mine looks like now.

Summit sells a setup like this. Comes with a gauge crossover line for rear of fuel rails & the main fuel line.

Ah I see. That's pretty cool. I can keep the evap system though right? Do I just remove the line out of the of heat wrap and replace that?

You could feed the rear of the rail, crossover in front.. That way you can hide some of the lines

At what hp range should you start thinking about y-ing the supply line to make sure both rails are fed equally?

I asked this question awhile back, the "y" setup isn't completely necessary, Lonnie's, speed inc etc told me that a single feed with a crossover is capable of 1000+hp...

I've read a lot about fuel transients, running lean on one side of the rail but never got concrete evidence as to what really caused some of the engine problems some people were having..

All the major sponsors here who deal with fuel have a kit just for this. You disconnect the factory soft line from the hard line down by the frail rail and they make an aftermarket braided line that clips onto the factory hard line and screws into the fuel rail. I had mine going from the factory hard line to the front of the driver side fuel rail, cross over in the back to the passengerside rail and the. Had an electronic fuel pressure gauge in the front of the passenger side rail. Done.

Do I need a shorter crossover line for the back of it so there isn't a little hump? Cuz that's why I didn't do it in the first place.
