Default fuel pump wiring

i know its been asked many times so i apologize in advance but posting it again seemed easier. im running the dual walbro setup and have the sho me speed hotwire kit for the main pump. i want to run the second pump off the hobbs switch so my question is what is the most logical or simple way to wire the second pump? thanks for the help

So with that diagram where its comes from pcm is that the original fuel pump trigger wire?

the diagram above looks like if you were wiring two pumps without a hotwire kit correct? or am i just missing the point of this?

That would be a dual Hotwire kit shown above, as long as you use 10 gauge wire from the battery/alternator to the relay and to the pumps

If you already have the Hotwire kit installed..

Add a second fused power line from the battery to the relay

Take your relay and hook it up like this
30- 12v from battery/alternator
85- ground
86- Hobbs switch, other side of hobb switch to a "keyed" 12v source
87- fuel pump

So once you go into boost the Hobbs switch activated and powers the relay which then sends power to the fuel pump..

In the diagram I first posted has the Hobbs switch on the ground wire, which will work too.

You can put it on either or, you want the circuit to complete under boost and trigger the relay to fire the pump..
