Default Mounted my FPR,is this ok?

The easiest way I could think of attaching it to the evap line. Is this ok?
Also remember hearing I had to mod something in the tank correct?

Yes, the stock regulator is in the Fuel Pump Module.
Remove the pump Module from the tank. Push up on the spring clip,
Remove the regulator.

I am thinking the same thing. I would not Run it there way to much heat at the very least make a heat shield out of aluminum or better yet find another place to mount that it. or you could just drive with one hand on the wheel and the other on whatever your using for fire suppression.
