Default fuel pump wiring

witch wires are for the fuel gauge and what is the cheapest solution for a gauge, this is going on my 68 truck with 02 lq4 and stock 02 Silverado pump in a Camaro tank. I don't need anything fancy just want to know how much fuel I have lol! also im not using the purge or the other crap on top of the tank so can I just strip it off. I think the Camaro cap is sealed so I need to know if the tank is vented or can be. thanks for the imput

The Fuel Level sender wires are purple.
This is the Fuel Level sender to convert a digital sender from 40-240 ohms to
an analog 0-90 ohms, which is compatible with the 68 truck fuel gauge.

Is the Camaro tank a plastic 99-2000. The 02 Silverado pump module will not fit in a
Camaro tank, as the Silverado tank is quite a bit deeper than the Camaro.

I have an 02 plastic tank and the silverado pump fits fine just need to remove the locating tit and reclock it so the gauge ARM will go high enough to read full. I'm not running stock gauges but most aftermarket ones are 0-90 but they are pretty proud of that sender. There has to be a cheaper option. Or an gauge I can buy or pull out of something that will work. Thanks for the help tho!
