Anyone running the ls9 injectors on ls1/ls6 intake? Need your help.
Hi guys.
After doing some math looks like my setup would need 56 - 60lb injectors.
I found a few threads talking about using the ls9 injectors on an ls1. So I know it can be done.
Main reason I like them is because they are cheap and oem=usually means quality.
I've read of spacers but can't find those spacer on the Web.
Is there any other way to make them work on ls1?
Well technically a 5.3 with ls intake and rail.
Just wanted to see if they are still cheaper than drop in 60lb bosche after the extra work or piece needed.
Thanks

going from memory, are the LS9 injectors shorter? I used LS1 style injs. on an LS3 intake, and had to use spacers because they were higher
my guess is the short injectors wouldn't work on an LS1 style intake, as the rail mounting brackets would hit before the injs. were seated
I think the LS1 intake takes a diff o ring also
I orig had 60 lb LS3 injs. (LS3 intake) with LS1 style plugs since I had an HP harness with that style plug
I may be off base, hopefully someone will chime in if I am wrong

You would need to have 1/2" spacers on the injectors AND harness adapters to make them work for your application.
