Default fuel level sensor 02 HELP!!!

I was installng my racetronix fuel pump kit and looked at the wiper contacts on my fuel level sensor and notied they were about worn off. I can find a sensor for a v-6 but the LS1 you have to buy the whole pump assembly. Damn, I just need the level sensor. Racetronix showed one but, it is discontinued. Will a V-6 sensor work or does anybody know the part# for LS1? Any help is appreciated

But I do know the 2000 and up f bod v6 fuel bucket will work on a v8 car. I changed the fpr and the pump everything else was plug and play. Found it on line for 60 bucks used.

Called AC Delco they would only give me the whole assembl #, I found the whole pump assembly at Hawks Third Gen for only 149.00 new that is about 200.00 less than everyone else. Comes with new level sender and complete assembly.
