Default What size injectors do i need??

IM in the process of my build and it's came to the point to buy fuel pump and injectors. 2000 z28, stock bottom end, ported 243 heads, tick polluter cam, fast 92/92, race tronics pump, 200 shot. Any clue on what size injectors I'll need for n/a and the 200 shot?

44lb/hr would be good, but if you're looking for room to grow, 60lb/hr would work too.

If that's in your future plans, I personally would go with the 60lb/hr injectors. The 44lb/hr injectors would likely work, but would be at a much higher duty cycle. How big of a cubic inch motor are you thinking?

42# @ 43.5psi pending your motor size, and I'm guessing wet setup on nitrous?

you will need a 255 pump for a set of 8 42#ers and if you go beyond that size, you will need dual 255 pumps or a secondary pump of some sort.

Since it's a dry kit, I would go with the 60lb/hr injectors.

I would say try to find the best deal on either 44 or 60 lb/hr injectors in the classified section. Either will work fine as long ss the pump(s) are up to par.

Will 42lb work? I see a few for sale now, I never really see 44, sometimes I see 46.

yes. remember, your fuel pressure is 58psi, not 43.5psi. so at your fuel pressure they are 48# injectors. hope you are not confused

Good point. I would personally want to have enough injector to where I had room to grow in the future.
