Racetronix 1998 camaro fuel sock placement Installing my Racetronix pump and Hot Wire kit. Im having a problem with getting the filter sock on and fully seated. It will not fully seat unless I install it between the pump and the pump bracket. (1st picture)
This is the only way mine will seat without bending the pump housing bracket.
The second picture is how it is shown in the instructions.
The only negative effect that I can see to installing it between the punp and pump bracket is that the filter will sit slightly higher inside the tank, which would mean I wouldnt be able to run the fuel level as low in the tank.
Anything im missing?
