Default Fuel cell uses stock filler neck but leaks gas out of vent?

Have an aftermarket fuel cell that mounts in place of the stock tank in an 02 firebird. The issue I am having is the tank when being filled through the stock filler neck leaks has out of the vent. How would one stop this?

The vent is a -10line going from the fuel cell up to The filler neck area where it has a loop.

Will I forever be counting gallons of fuel? Or will I be able to eventually fill it up at the pump and have it click off when full without leaking gas out?

Thanks!

Top end of the vent line too close to being the same level as the tank??
Try moving the line to a more vertical point as far above the tank as possible.
