Default Fuel tank over pressure in C5??

I have dual in tank pumps with a fpr and return line going back Into the tank.

I was driving around all day, it's very hot and I noticed a gas smell. I thought, let's check this out. Pull over the tank sounds like it's gurgling but not leaking at all. I open the cap and gas and pressure blows out of it.

What the hell is wrong? LoL

It can build pressure due to the heat. Nothing to worry about.

Remember you should not be running both pumps continuously. It will add extra heat to the fuel system.

What's the best way to turn on the second pump? It's a NA car.

It's RSI's dual in tank kit and wiring harness.
