Default Question on 2001 plastic tank fuel system

So I'm planning on doing a fuel system in the car. I have read that people use a steel tank from older ls cars and sump that. My question is, is there a way to do something like that with the tank I have or would I just be running an internal pump with the a1000 I have?

I've been trying to search but haven't been able to find much on the plastic tanks. Thanks
