Default Need of some Intake advice on my new 408 build

I am trying to figure out what kind of intake and throttle body I should go with. I am build a LS swap mustang and putting in a 408 with RHS CNC'd heads. Should I go with a Fast 102 and throttle body, or a super victor EFI with a Accufab 4150 throttle body, or the Super Victor EFI with a elbow and a throttle body. This car is going to be a street car only. So what does everybody think.

Cathedral heads or rectangle port heads? You said street car only...... I honestly do the fast. It would have better drivability and more torque under 6500rpm where most real street cars live life. I wouldn't do a hi rise setup unless you plan on spinning the car up to 7 plus rpm down the quarter all the time. A ported fast would be the hot ticket in my opinion...

Lsx R 102 here, couldn't be happier, the Vic Jr. Is way bigger and uglier to begin, the fast makes power under 6000 , it makes good power all across the board where the Vic only makes good power at certain rpm,

People run both no problem, but the fast is definitely a better product especially if your using as a DD , the fast will be nice for that since it makes good power at all rpm, I'm not positive on the Vic but I think it's peak power is around 6k,so ask yourself this, how often are you going to be at 6k rpm on the street like you would a track., not very often for me or I would be ripping through traffic like a mad man.

X2,,, street cars generally live life under 6k, which is where the fast performs well and the Vic does not do so well.. turbo or nit I say that 408 deserves a fast .. plus it'll still look like a ls when you open the hood. . Only thing I would have changed is got the black rails. Since I'm doing my under hood black.

I would use a stock LS2 manifold if you are adding boost. They are good to 1000 hp plus and don't break under boost.

Good choice, you will either need the fast rails or ls2 rails.. if your getting fast rails you can get black or red. . Wish I would have got black, the red isn't the same red as the X on the manifold, and it not quite dark as the red fuel fittings from aeromotive
