Default Question on FP regulator

I saw that the stock fuel pressure regulator has a vacuum reference tube running to the top the unit. Where does this draw vacuum from. I just want to make sure that everything is connected properly.

Car in your signature in stock form: FPR is in fuel pump module (inside fuel tank), FPR reference is open.

Otherwise: FPR is on fuel rail, FPR reference is connected to intake manifold.

Yes, it is a stock fuel pressure regulator in the tank.
