Default Boost reference FPR

OK I have a 98 camaro ls1 383 stroker. My plan is to run a d1sc on about 8lbs of boost only looking to make 600-650 Max. Which FPR would I need? I do not have fuel pump or injectors yet. Should I run 60lb or 80? I was also looking into running a single walbro 450 .. any information is appreciated

Im in the same boat as you. IDK what fuel pump/ system will give me enough fuel to make roughly 600rwhp on 93 octane only and not be overkill such as a Lonnies dual 255 setup would be. I have heard the walbro 340 will do the job just fine, but, I also hear it will cause the fuel pressure to raise more than stock and cause tuning issues. Its my understanding that the issue is from the all the time fuel volume increase of the bigger pump thats not needed at lower demand part throttle driving. This is all on stock lines and regulator. LMK what you find out. G.L.

I spoke with a few people some say it's recommended but not needed for my hp goals. I should be able to get away with it with the walbro 450 but I'm thinking that might be to much pump I think the 80s with a 340 should work.

Is it a plug and play? Are you running a FPR? And what size injectors. Oh and dyno numbers?

The walbro 450 is only too much pump if you don't run a return line.

The automotive 13129 is a great regulator. Also, you can't really go too big on injectors until you go into ones with low resistance. 80s are good for 1000 hp and are about the same price as 60s.

That was the thing. I'm thinking about using the stock fueling with with a 340 and running stock fpr

i had great results with kirban race regulator with dual 255 walbros

i had it stick twice with triple walbros and switched to a fore regulator (ball instead of foot metering) and it gave me great results from then on out.
