Return line on vortec 4800?

Return line on vortec 4800? I have my engine in the garage and have been checking a few things over, will be swapping it into my car soon. So what do I need to do with the other line that is beside the supply fuel line on the intake? It looks like some kind if a breather line or something? Can it be eliminated? It also has an electrical connector going to it. Thanks.
