Default HP limits of stock Fuel system for forced induction

HUron Turbo kit will be shipping soon, and I realized I dont have enough $$ to do everything at once.. I know the fuel system is important, but I figured I would run low boost for a while until I get a good setup and a 4l80 under the car..

If you're talking completely stock fuel system then I wouldn't even risk it... There's not enough fuel there for anything worth anything, just my .02... I let my turbo kit sit in storage for a year until I had everything I needed for it

I have a Lonnies twin 255 fuel pump with lines and filter for sale in the classifieds. Direct drop in, and plug and play. Good to about 650 hp on E85.

With enough fuel pump, you can make 700+ HP with stock fuel lines.

My buddy's car I tuned is going 9.20's at 153mph in a 3650lb car with completely stock fuel system other than 127lb injectors and dual 255 pumps. Factory 58psi regulator and everything. It's on E85 and is just starting to max out the system at 20psi boost.

Agreed. The only reason I didnt use the factory lines was because, I wanted to use a boost ref FPR.

Sorry guys.. Heres the deal, explained a little better.. I didn't think about the cost of everything involved in a turbo install.. Well I kind of did but missed a crucial point.. the transmission...

SO either I run the stock 4L60 with a either complete fuel system ( lines, rails, injectors, , dual pump etc etc ) which I believe from Lonnies is Around $2500..

Or , drop a walbro 450 in tank with some 100 lb injectors and take a kick to the nuts, dropping $4000 into the 4l80 swap..

It seems with boost the 4L80 is almost a must have... Sure I could buy a complete e85 fuel system for $2500, but whats the point , since if I were to tune it to full potential , the trans would implode on itself...

Still trying to decide on the TC78 vs the ON3 7876.. I really want something with a larger turbine than the tc78 has.. but AM on a budget, obviously
