Default Using Factory Feed Line for Return. What to do with stock filter

Ok so I am running a new -8 feed line for my turbo setup, and I am using my factory feed line for a return. What do I do with the factory fuel filter? I'm assuming I can't leave it in the line.

put the filter in a vise then drill a hole in the filter from the threaded side and clean it out really good !

You can use the factory one with an adapter or you can just buy an aftermarket one

Im in the process of doing the same thing but using the stock return port on the top of the fuel hat (that way you don't have to worry about the fuel filter being in the way). Pulled out all the stock fuel line and evap line and running -8 for feed and -6 for return. Russell makes fittings for the fuel port to -8 and -6 for return.

or you can buy a compression fitting for the line with a -6an then connect a line to the bucket that way, that is what I am doing for my turbo build,
using 6an feed and stock supply as my return. Dual pump setup.
simple and clean looking.

don't use a filter on the stock location on the return, that will cause your fuel pressure regulator to read incorrectly.

Can you send me a picture of this setup? Another guy said he ran a stock filter, so that's how I set it up, but if it is going to cause false readings then I don't want to do that.
