currently its cam only, stock 241 heads. 92mm intake now.

the only future mod I would make is ported heads and that may never happen; at least not in the 12 month time frame.

A matched set of ls3s is all you'll ever need then. You can do pull offs, but I like cleaned and flowed.

We have a set of FAST 36lbers that will work great for a great price.
The ls3s wont work unless you wanna spend alot more money to make em work.

Save your money and wait till you do heads. Not necessary now.

98% duty cycle is bad. you can get 42lbers that will handle most ls1 na setups for about the same price from us btw.

It says 90% in post #1. 98 is the year of the car.

Ok, last reply. Getting new injectors at this point doesn't make sense.

1. He will need a new tune which he will need when he does heads. Why pay for a tune twice?

2. Unless he is truly at 98% duty cycle, it's a waste of money imo.

Sorry, just trying to save the OP money

Because honestly anything over 90% on an injector that is 17 years old and has X hundred hours is a recipie for disaster. Most people talk about plans and then something comes up and they are pushed back and put off. They would require a retune yes but its better to do it now than put it off and forget about it.

Pull off injectors cost less than $200. The top spacer kit from FIC costs $120-$130. It's an oem quality part with known good data available. Screw hacked together data that "works" for fast injectors. Will you need a tune? Yep. anyone who charges you an arm and a leg for an injector swap is a dirt bag. Your tuner should do it on the cheap, I would if I were him.

Hacked together? No. And the fast injectors are $300. You forgot about the electrical connector difference as well. So add on another $50-60 there also. Why is this so hard to understand? The fast is a bosch normally anyway so it is oe quality as well as far as that goes. I dont just sell the parts. I install and tune as well. Id rather have a brand new set of flowmatched injectors preferrably in nearly any build above stock injector limits.

The electrical connector is included in the space kit. You don't think gm has the injectors on a car in matched sets? I can have a set of injectors cleaned for $20 locally.

What bosch part number are they?

I am not going to argue with you about gm vs aftermarket etc. You have your opinion and i have facts.

FIC is one of THE MOST TRUSTED companies when it comes to domestic injectors esp for LS. If John says he can resize them and they will work then i believe in him 100% and have even ran them on my own stuff and other customers builds/tunes with zero issues.
Even if all that comes in the set you are still into them for more $$$ . And not all people have a place that cleans injectors locally nor should most places like that be trusted over FIC where that is ALL they do unless they do it as well. $20 for 8 is a little too cheap for new baskets and o rings and complete cleaning.

You haven't presented even 1 fact. It's all been your opinion. I asked for a part number and you ignored it. I don't care who it is, if they say they can resize an injector and the only thing that changes is the flow rate they are wrong, PERIOD. I don't have a single problem with aftermarket products. I have a problem with injectors that will make a car start like crap and have crap drivablity.

FIC has several good products. As you can see I plugged one of them. Fast has several good products. The greatest injector in the world is useless without proper characterization data. That data isn't easy to come by.

I said cleaned not rebuilt.

When they aren't a bosch what are they? You don't think that matters to the injector behavior?
