If I swap my '98 PCM to a 99+ PCM and harness will my fuel gauge still work?

Default If I swap my '98 PCM to a 99+ PCM and harness will my fuel gauge still work?

Just like the title says. I want to make sure my stock 98 fuel gauge will still work.

you cannot use a 99+ pcm and harness and have a working fuel gauge.
The 99+ harness is NOT compatible with the vehicle. there are several wires that need to be moved and added to a 99+ harness to make it function properly. Then you need a 0411 pcm with the proper fuel gauge settings enabled in order for the fuel gauge to work.

The 99 PCM isn't an 0411, but you can flash in the same code as an 0411, including the proper segment for the fuel gauge in a 98 to work.

If the 98 harness is not damaged, you can just re-pin the PCM connectors, and the 99+ PCM will plug right in.
