Default fuel pressure drops at 4800rpm???

I'm trying to get my car tuned... I installed a 255lph pump, billet rails, a1000 regulator, and the lines from the factory feed are 6an.... the pressure at idle sits at 60psi... as he starts to make a pull and gets to about 4800rpm the pressure drops to about 40... I removed the factory fpr from the sending unit... could the pump be bad or could the factory wiring not be enough? Any experience with this kind of thing? I can list the mods, but I think this is mostly somewhere in the pump or wires...

You're giving no info at all.

yes it could be wiring, installation, faults, anything really.

You dont state power or fuel demand, so if your engine is using more fuel than the system can provide, of course pressure will drop.

But without some proper info there's no way to guess. Surely the tuner has some input, he's seeing what is going on and has all the info to hand ?

I'd bet the pumps bad....,

Walbro=piece of ****

Put a Supra TT Denso in it and never worry about a fuel pump again.

You spent a lot of money upgrading lines/regulator that would support 700rwhp in factory form, but put in a pump that only is good for approx. 550rwhp.

Not sure of your power output here, but you likely need more pump.
