Default hobbs switch ?

im looking at the racetronics 510 lph dual pump setup on their website. apparently there backordered on the 4 psi hobbs switch and my question is would i lose performance by going to the larger (i believe 7 psi) hobbs switch?

depends on the power level. will it run 1 - 255lp out of flow by 7psi?

I have one of their setups in a box in my shed, in a pump housing already with 4psi switch. Just dont need that much fuel yet

If you are referring to the HPS-7 series switch, it can be adjusted. I believe the range on that one is 4-8 lbs.

Look on the plug end. There should be a screw visible. That's the adjuster.

Actually, on those racetronix switches, you have to remove the end cap and there is an allan key screw inside. I have pictures somewhere if someone actually needs to do it, and wants direction.

is there any way of getting ahold of someone at racetronix?
i ordered and paid for my pump on the 10th. a few days later they sent me an email stating that the 4psi hobbs switches are on back order and asked if they should send without it, i replied i would like to speak with someone about the situation and received no reply no call no anything so i emailed again and still no response, voicemail, email nothing.
after the nightmare dealing with paypal to link a new card to the account to buy this pump and now this delay and the car sitting on the guys lift its been super frustrating.

there pumps work but actually getting a hold of them if something breaks is hard. Ive emailed them about a 340 pump that went bad in a matter of 20 min run time and the only answer they gave me was to get a hold of one of there vendors. kinda sucks because i needed the 2nd pump but didnt want to wait for them to say if they were going to replace or not.

I emailed back and forth with the sales department a few times with no issue. Tech support is non existent except for a forum they have. I like some of their harnesses and switches, but don't think I would buy anything from them that might need tech support.

got the pumps wired up and installed but the motor wont run right. even with the hobbs switch's adjusted how racetronics suggested the pumps are delivering too much fuel washing out the cylinders. we had the car running right then the next day and ever since it either wont start or floods the engine while idling.
the car still has the stock fuel regulator on it but i dont see that causing the problem we are having.

anyone have any suggestions?
