Default Cheap injector recommendations

My 2000 ls1 has maxed out the stock injectors. I have a 228r cam, lid, headers, full exhaust etc. I still have stock 853 heads and ls1 intake. I have the manifold off to replace the knock sensors, so I've decided to go ahead and get slightly larger injectors. Thanks for the recommendations!

Don't get "cheap" injectors. It will only cause you and your tuner problems in the long run.

Definitely not something you want go cheap on. Ebay has some used 36/42 pd. Bosch for a very reasonable price. They're also checked before sale. I ran a set in my old H/C Fbody w/ no problems whatsoever. Stay away from SmartFire's though, they're ****.

AMEN to that! I've flow tested several sets, called the customers, and they were sent directly to the trash barrel.

Go for a set of higher flowing OEM injectors. Turbo guys pitch the stock flex fuel injectors all the time. Or Add more base pressure, shouldn't need bigger injectors for that setup.

I've got a set of 33's from a 2003 flex fuel 5.3 (L59), I'm going to turbo it, and need to find 80's (which is how I got in this thread)

If you're interested, pm me an offer
