Will this pump work in a 98

I allready have one its 001LS1DFFP can't remember what all the differences are with the 98 system and it would be good to be able to just install the one I have instead of buying a new one.

The reason it's for a 99-02 is because it has the Venturi setup that the stock pump used to keep the plastic fuel bucket in the tank full when running low on fuel or when hard turning...

The 98 pump doesn't have this feature since it's the style of pump that just sits at the bottom of the tank totally submerged in the tank..
