Stock 5.3 with bad stock injector and wanting to convert to e-85 with room to grow. Are 42# injectors too big for a stock engine? Doing head and cam swap in a couple months can I go ahead and run 42lbers safely with a re-tune of course on the stock 5.3 or will it be a nightmare for my tuner? Any help is appreciated thanks!

Look for 2009 silverado flex fuel injectors they're 34 lbs @58 psi

I'm honestly not sure but I would think those will be to big for a stock 5.3

A competent tuner will not have any issue making those work on the 5.3.
