Default racetronix FPA-002A question

hey all, the fuel pump on my 98 ws6 has gotten very loud and noisy and i figure is on its last legs. going to replace the filter today however i want to do the pump anyway for peace of mind, car only has 48k miles but is 18 years old. Im about to order from ws6 store the FPA-002A with hot wire kit and had a quick question, this is all OEM drop in replacement with no cutting or splicing/modifications required correct?, so theres no scare in letting the tank drop below 1/4 or special way the pump needs to be orientated in the tank correct? Have read in research that some pumps do not allow you to get below 1/4 and that some others require some sort of modification. just trying to get clarification on all this. thanks
