Default 440-460rwhp. Do I need anything more than 36#ers?

So I have a H/C/I (soon to be a ported Fast 92, hence the estimated 20hp gain) 98 Z28 that also has all supporting bolt ons. The car had Bosch 36# injectors installed by the previous owner and I'm wondering if there is any need to upgrade to 42#ers for my application? This question is slightly motivated by the fact I've seen fuel around one of the injectors which I am guessing could be a bad O ring. I am also interested in spraying the car with a smaller shot such as a 75.

Alternately, I've considered upgrading to a Racetronix fuel pump with the hotwire kit. Wouldn't this accomplish the same thing since it would increase the PSI of fuel delivery? Since I am interested in spraying, I know this will be a needed future mod.

36s are fine at that level and if you do a wet kit you will only have to worry about the fuel pump. If you do a dry kit than it you will likely need to upgrade injectors.

Adding a racetronix pump and kit will not increase fuel pressure it will only increase the flow output itself to make it capable of maintaining the correct fuel pressure. A 255 with the hotwire will only support around 525-550rwhp so keep that in mind.

Yikes. Think I should keep it to a 75 wet shot then? I already have the kit, progressive controller/etc. I would be using an LNC-2000 to pull the timing.

Have to check a/f throughout the pull and see how much spray you can get away with.

Why not go to 42# injectors for some lee-way. What is your duty cycle with the current injectors?
