Stock ls1 injectors, plastic piece at the bottom needed? I just bought some used ls1 injectors to replace my 42# injectors. I'm replacing the orings and cleaning them before install but I noticed the little plastic piece on the bottom of the injectors is broken or missing on a few of them. I can't find the plastic pieces at any auto parts store, and am unsure what they are called (I assumed some sort of retainer but all searches keep bringing up the retaining clips). Are the plastic pieces needed? What is their purpose? Where could I get them if needed? I need help with this asap, car is running pig rich and need to downsize the injectors immediately.
