Hey guys Im trying to help a buddy find some injectors for his cammed truck.

Its a LQ4 with 243 heads and a small cam. Tuner told him injectors are maxed. We are looking for an inexpensive drop in injector, preferably an OEM injector for availability and price.

About the only thing Ive found is the truck 8.1 injectors, which are about 30-32 lbs at 58 psi, which will probably be enough for what he needs.

Any other OEM or readily available injectors we should be looking for?

I would ask to see the log file and look at the injector duty cycle. If it is not over 60% then no need to spend on new or used injectors. It took about 6lbs of boost to max out the stock injectors on my LQ9.

Get the flex fuel truck injectors, they'll be plenty.

Agreed. Flex Fuel injectors. I got a set of 8 for like $220. They are from the L9H 6.2L Flex Fuel motor. Work fine.
