Default 80lbs Injectors, LS1 Intake, Fasterllc Fuel Rail

So I can't seem to get my injector to sit straight in my intake and rails. This is causing the O-rings to leak air past them. I have ebay fuel rails from FasterLLC. They seem to be fine but I have nothing to go off. My last stock injectors and 3/8" ebay fuel rails fit fine with no problems. I feel like I am missing something simple that causing the issue.

The injectors measure ~2.5". They are from FIC in Georgia. Bosche LS1 80lbs.

The injectors to me seem to short. They sit very close to the intake allen bolt. Is there something that is suppose to go below the inspectors in the intake? Any ideas on the issue?

I noticed mine were not aligned well into the manifold with my Ebay fuel rails. It is because the rail material hits the bolt/manifold location. I plan on grinding some clearance on the rails to make them fit.

This is exactly what I planned on doing if the rails are the problem. My other rails where the smaller at the bottom and they were only 3/8 inch. I assumed this is why they fit.

This is what I ended up doing. While it got the injectors at a better angle they still are not perfect. Hopefully it fixed the leaks though.

I asked the seller if he has ever had this problem before and he stated that he hasn't had anyone contact him about it. I bought these rails in October or November so it's been a while but he sent me another set of rails at no charge because these might have been defective. I don't think they are but I haven't looked at yet. The seller is definitely someone I would do business with again as he was pretty helpful with everything but I don't know if it was just my intake+his rails causing the problem or what. Atleast with the rails on the car you can't see that they have been modified at all.

So this fixed my problem on one side and the other side it did not. I ordered oversized orings for Katech so maybe that will fix the problem completely. We shall see since they're LS1-LS2 orings.

I drilled out the holes on the passenger side that didn't work and slid the mounts towards the trans as they seem to be learning forward. I did this the first time on the driver side which is also the side that didn't leak so we will see when I get to crank it again if it fixed it.

I went ahead and order the orings since they're cheap. I guess we shall see. Honestly I would choose different fuel rails knowing these have issues but as I said, it could be something in my setup causing the issue.

They're Bosche LS1 injector I got from FIC. O-Ring to O-Ring is a little over 2.5". I think LS2 should be around 2".

I still havent put pressure to my rails or started the engine to see if I have manifold leaks. But with a stock LS6 intake manifold and injectors, these rails hit. Which seller did you buy from on Ebay? I am going to see if I bought from the same guy and if I can get a new set of rails. Maybe the extrusions are different now. If not then I will at least have another set of rails I can take my time to mount up on the mill at work and machine out nicely.
