Default do 60lb injectors need fuel pump upgrade?

Planning a budget ls2 gto turbo build looking for 600-700 bhp (500-600 whp). My guess is im gunna need some 60lb injectors, but the only site i can find that sells some non-sketchy 60lb's for the ls2 is UPP and theyre wanting $600. Worth it or is there an alternative? And my main question, would the fuel pump need upgraded and how could i do it on a budget?

Im making 585 on a stock fuel pump with bap and 42 lb injectors. Take my advice and don't do that I'm saying that it is possible to do but I wouldn't do it again. My fuel system is maxed and will be upgraded to a lonnies soon. Put a walbro 255 in it with hotwire kit or even better a dw300 it will drop right in. Those will both get you to your power. Also you should be a able to get a set of injectors for half that. 600 is too much for a budget build. Fuel injector connection sells a set for less than that and jon is amazing he will take care of you..

Call Jon at Fuel Injector Connection. He will get you setup properly for less than $600. You will likely need a bigger pump I would say as well.

I'm at 616whp on 60's and dual 255's in the tank. If I was buying again I would go at least 80's, room to grow in the future. If your building a turbo setup I would do pump upgrade to handle more than you want now. Build it once and forget about it.

What hp would max out the 60's where 80's would be necessary? It's a street car so i think 600 wheel is around the max traction will allow without slicks,

current goal is 500wheel after the turbo at 8psi, with 600 available once i get the cash for some DOT slicks and a better rear end.
Car is going to be a daily, so my main priority is reliability. Would a deatschwerks DW65c be a good reliable choice capable of 600whp and some 2,000+ mile roadtrips?

From everything I've seen 700-750 is about the max on 60's. My set up is reliable to daily drive. From my past fuel pressure problems to everything I've read over build the fuel system and forget about it. With how easy it is to turn up a turbo you'll be board with 500hp real quick.

My 315 Nitto 555r do just fine on street at 600.

the 700 would be on pump fuel. If you plan to be on E85, 650ish to the tires is about the max with 80lb fuel injectors depending on the fuel pressure the tuner is able to work with. I've seen 80lb injectors go up to 850ish rwhp on pump gas, but they were spraying meth as well.

** I say "ish" because every dyno reads a little differently and the auto vs. manual comparison will yield different numbers too **

750 crank or wheel? Hows the road noise on the 555r's. Im not sure i could run 315s, when i bought the car the previous owner had already ordered a set of 18x8 18x9 rims and im going to order my next set of tires to fit those and i think 275 is about the max for 9" width. How do the nittos do in digs?

no e85 here, small *** town in texas so the closest pump is 110 miles south. I dont think ill need 80's if 60's do fine till 700 wheel since i dont feel comfortable pushing a stock daily driven block to 900~ crank. Will installing injectors only need a tune? I would like to do the install in steps so the car isnt out of service for too long, but from what ive heard injector upgrades require a tune and i dont want to shell out $400 just to do it again once i get the turbo bolted up.

Yes you need a tune when upgrading injectors. Yes 60lbers are fine for 700whp on pump fuel.
