Help with sending unit to chassis hard line conversion
Guys,
I have been searching for about 2 hours without a lot of luck
I have to drop the tank, again, to change out a failed evap system. I don't like the nylon lines and the fact that they can kink and easily get knicked. So when I drop the tank this time I want to put in some braided teflon lines.
I was looking at the Aeroquip line and fittings for the line them the Russell 2 piece SAE push on replacements. I want to replace the feed and return lines with this, but I have a few questions:
1) What size Russell fittings do I need for both ends (2x at sending unit, fuel filter and return from chassis). Better yet, what are the part numbers if anyone has them?
2) What is the length of the factory lines? I figured 6' would get what I need, but was going to order 10' to be safe.
3) What line fittings can I install with standard tool? I don't want to invest in tools I will use once. Honestly, I really would like to just buy some preassembled lines for this to not even fool with it.
Any help you can provide would be great!
