Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Clamp

I am replacing my FPR on my 96 Trans Am but am having issues removing/loosening the metal clamp that holds the 2 hard fuel lines. Any tips/techniques/solutions from anybody that has done this in the past? I do not want to take the fuel rails off if at all possible.

Pretty much any parts store will have the fuel connection tool. They're usually advertised as being used for fuel filters.

When you do pick up the tool, do yourself a favor and spend the extra couple of bucks for the metal ones. The plastic ones are cheaper, but, the metal ones will last longer. I've broken several plastic ones over the years by not following my own advise...
