Default Probably a dumb idea but thought I would ask

So I have 8 160lb low impedence white top Bosch injectors in my tool box with the thought of one day running methanol.
I have seen people use these with peak and hold boxes and resistors. My thought was what if you wired the injectors in series so that you chained 3-4 together and let the other injectors be the resistors in essence for the other injectors........I know opening time will be less due to lower voltage seen by each injectors but wondered if anyone has tried this?

Put some pen to paper
2.6 ohm injectors vs 12 ohm high impedence (batch fire car)
Run two in series in parallel with two in series would get you ball parking same amps as 4 high impedence injectors 4.33 amps (12 ohm injectors) to 5.0 amps for the low impedence.

What ECU exactly do you plan on run these with?

Microsquirt if I was going to. More of an idea than actually doing it. Just curious is anyone has done it or attempted it.

I do not think your box will like that. You will burn the drivers in the box up.
Too high of a draw

They run at 4.333 amps right now and it clamps current at 5 amp so it shouldn't burn up the box when you run them in series

Series/parallel only works well for voltage. They are still going to require 4.33 amps per injector regardless of how you wire them. If you're clamping the single circuit at 5 amps, then you only have 5 amps for 4 injectors to share. A 4.33 amp injector isn't going to be too happy running at just over 1 amp.
