need help have a fuel issue

Default need help have a fuel issue

alright start it off have a ls1 in a holden commodore converted
and have an issue engine will only run good at 90 psi of fuel pressure if I set the adjustable fuel pressure reg to 60 psi it barely drives missing carrying on ect just want to know if anyone has come across this and if so what could be the issue

something in the system is clogged or really dirty

new walbro 255 and new fuel filter tank is clean could the injectors be on their way out seeing's the engines got 300k +

yeah probably.. before buying new injectors I'd take the old ones off and have them cleaned and flow matched


also forgot to mention.. did you get rid of the OEM pressure regulator??

ah yeah will do that and the Australian ls1 has just has the fuel dampener in the rail there is no return line and reg

the factory regulator should be on the fuel sender assembly in the tank..

not the factory set up in older model that this engine does not belong using a tomei fuel pressure reg and checked with a test gauge on rail with regulator if I put fuel pressure to the 60 psi factory the car will barley drive
