Wow that's not much of an increase over just the racetronix Hotwire and 255 with stock injectors "at least what I've heard" people say the stock system is good for 500 , a 255 should raise the bar some , then you're getting 75-100% more flow with the bap plus bigger injectors . Crazy to think that all that upgrading and your only getting another 100 rwhp

yeah if you are going turbo just skip the 255 altogether and get a twin 340 or twin 430 setup

You can hook a bank of firetrucks hosing gas into stock injectors and not get a real 500rwhhp. On the other hand, you CAN get 500rwhp out of a stock pump with 60# injectors. You can only get it for short bursts, however, as the stock bucket will drain fast, and the pressure drop will be a huge tuning issue. Drag racing and dyno pulls will never show it, but a fuel system needs to be much more robust if it ever sees road course duty.

You're limited to the weakest link. Putting 220 lb injectors on a stock pump isn't going to make it flow 1500 HP.

Walbro 255 struggles around 500. BAP might give you 600. As long as injectors flow 600+ then they are irrelevant.

Running a 255 on a turbo LS is an insanely bad idea.

Truth..

Plus, as for Racetronix. Hahaha
Get an Aeromotive or something else that will work and not go out in 3 months or less.

Just to add a different perspective for a moment. My 121" S&S motorcycle engine uses a walbro 255.

I'm just gonna get ahold of Nasty n8 and see what he recommends for my build. I'm only looking for 550-600 on the ls1 and in all honesty this setup needs to only last about 1.5 months. I was just curious if it would hold up to 8 psi from my Benita 7868, just to have some fun before snow starts sticking ..

Your sig says A4. Fuel it however you want to, but set your shift points below where you run out of fuel. Have the fun of boosted torque without the hassles of fueling big HP levels until you figure the rest out. edit- ignore this comment, as I was looking at a sig from a different post.

I never did a sig? My car is m6 for sure and will stay that way until I ether break the tick performance level 5 tr6060 , or decide to have it be strictly strip only. I know it's next to impossible to bang gears into the 8s , but I'm not looking to be anything more than, a street car that's damn near impossible to touch, and go to the strip and run 9s

What's the deal with these double pump setups that utilize the stock fuel bucket? Do most just bypass that option and run their own dual pumps, lines, regulator etc?

700whp has been made on a single 340 lph pump. You can buy them as a direct drop-in for cheap.

Pull that 255 out of there and stop second guessing everything.

Why would I pull a brand new pump and bap out ? If I make 550 then so be it , 650 cool. I was just curious what others have seen this same fuel setup support. I'm going with a complete nasty n8 fuel system and tank in the spring for my tt build so fuel will not be an issue again .

the fact that you are using a BAP in the first place means you are doing it wrong... overbuild it the first time so you wont have to swap things out down the road

so why not get the Nasty setup now so you can do it once instead of having to do it twice?
