Default Fuel delivery

Hi guys moving forwards with my 1000+ hp forged 5.3, I only have block built so I'm going to need injectors/fuel system, ignition system...etc. Imean doing research on belt drive systems, I live everything about them except price, I'm mainly looking for practicality in this build (not really lol) and I really can't stand very loud fuel pumps, they drive me nuts. is there a quiet electric fuel pump that will support 1500hp (room for bigger motor and more boost with 6.0 on the future), I also can't really find any belt drive systems. Thanks

What fuel ?

For that sort of power, you'll need at least 2 electric pumps.

Holley list some big flowing electric pumps

https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/12-1500

( basically a dual VR1 anyway so effectively 2 pumps squeezed into a single housing )

https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/12-3000

Or Fuelab

http://fuelab.com/products/race/prod...r_efi_in_line/

No doubt they are variations on the Veyron brushless pump

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/perfor...n-p1-fuel-pump

in-tank

http://www.jjcraceandrally.com/race/...er-wiring-loom

Obviously you could save money by using multiple cheaper in-tank or external pumps, just depends how many you really want to run. 3 x Walbro 450's would offer a good bit of flow and be pretty cheap but you're starting to use a lot of electric power for 3, 4 of those etc.

random...double post.

1000hp is easy...1500hp as you see above will take considerably more effort unless you're happy with lots of pumps.

And if not using regular fuel...even more effort again.

No idea, it isnt something I'd ever consider.

YB might get more responses, eg

depends on your budget and whether you want internal or external pumps etc.

OEM charging systems on modern cars are very good...but it depends what you have as to whether it may need upgraded and for how long you would require all 3 pumps running at max effort.

But all wiring for pumps etc will need to be proper.

Internal...submerged in fuel and contained within a tank will obviously always be quieter, and the likes of the Walbro 450's are an internal pump anyway so cannot be used outside a fuel tank

They must always be submerged in fuel.

Radium makes a surge tank for a triple install if your original tank design doesnt lent itself well to being used. Not sure if they list 450's in their fitment though.

But anything could be built custom if need be
