Ls3 fuel pressure regulator in 98 z28
I need some help on my fuel pressure regulator problem as I've come to find contradicting info on it. Does my 98 have the pressure regulator in the tank or not? And can I just plug in my ls3 fuel rails and call it a day?

I am in a similar situation, but I will be swapping to the '99-'02 plastic tank & pump on my '98 (tank is leaking anyway). Plus, I will be adding a Racetronix kit to boost pressure. My LS3 is not stock, but I wonder if the stock pump will be able to handle the increased power output of your LS3.
I am not sure on the regulator part, but I always hear people saying that the '98 fuel rail has an extra regulator or something on it, which is not true. I believe they are the same.

That would be the fuel pressure vapor sensor on the top of the tank. Your fuel pressure regulator is on your stock fuel rails. I think the pressure sensor is only for EVAP but not certain on that.

Thanks a lot I got worried for a while, but was gonna run it anyway I was already making plans with my tuner to come tune it at my house. It'll be done sometime in January since I'm traveling to see family soon and won't get to work on it till after. Merry Christmas everyone.
