Default Walbo 255 with hotwire Max hp

Can anyone tell me what the max hp rating is for this setup? My car makes 500 on the motor and with this setup and a 50 shot it goes lean to 12.5 with never improving.

at 550hp I think you're pretty well there. May be more if everything is working as should but not much more than 600 in a perfect world.

My 3700lb f-body did 124 in the 1/4 so that would show I'm around 570rwhp. Since then I added a few lbs of boost and a new bigger turbo and it still hasn't gone lean on me. I'm guessing I'm at 600rwhp FI right now with the walbro 255 and hotwire..

I have pushed one to 133mph in the quarter with a little help from meth injection, 3800lb car. Not saying it was smart, but it also wasn't leaning out. Hotwired or a voltage booster can stretch them a little, but still a band aid.

I know of 3 different cars, all running boost a pumps . Every single one of them has ran for multiple seasons now and thousands of miles. I run one now my with racetronix 255 Hotwire kit, and I'll run a dual bap with my new dual 340lph racetronix setup. They come as oe equipment on high performance mustangs so band aid or not , they last

A BAP is fine with a HW harness as long as it is only activated at WOT
The voltage should be set so that it doesn't cause the pump to cavitate.
Some pumps can't handle much more than 16V while others keep adding volume at over 20V.
A safe setting is 16-17V (measured at the pump connector) for most pumps.
