5.3 runs rich right at 150-196 degrees

Default 5.3 runs rich right at 150-196 degrees

The engine runs great but right when it hits 150 degrees ot runs super rich until around 196. Ive went through the tune and cant figure it out. Im not an expert with hp tuners but i know a little about it. Help please

Do you know if it is running in closed loop during this time? If you are not, you should probably look at enabling closed loop at a lower temperature. How are you determining it is rich, do you have a wideband setup? It could be your in open loop until 196, and your VE table is too rich meaning that your values are too high. Do you know what your long term fuel trims are? I'd start by verifying your VE table. Why don't you data log the vehicle from a start as it warms and post it here so we can take a look at it for you. Also posting your tune, the HPT file might help too. You should log commanded AFR and actual measured AFR from your wideband. That way we know if it is rich because the computer is telling to be rich, or if what is being commanded is not happening.

Im not that great with tuning. ive got a wideband in the vehicle thats how i know its running rich but i cant get it to come up right in the scanner.

at 150 degrees it runs rich, in the 10,11 volt range on wideband

The heater on bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 is malfunctioning. could that be my problem?

I assume the heated oxygen sensor is what you're referring to? If you suspect them I'd just replace them. They are a wear item like spark plugs and brake pads IMO.

if it goes into closed loop before engine coolant reaches 190 it runs rich but after 190 it runs great
