Default MS3PRO 24x or 58x? (does it matter)

What is the difference in these 2 units? Isn't thia just an option to change on the software? Or if I buy a 24x box and swap to a 58x engine am I not able to run it?

Thanks

It's the harness that's different. Mainly the crank and cam sensor. 24x has 12v feed and 58x has 5v feed with external 1k pull up resistors, also, pinouts are different on the crank/cam sensors

And knock sensor placement is different

Anything can be changed in the software to suite which ever setup

Ah gotcha, thanks. I was curious because I use an MS3x currently with 12v to the cam/crank sensors and have used it on the 58x and 24x engines without any issues I'm aware of. Thought it was weird they had separate Pn's.
