Dimeomboost

I have a stupid question and I think I should know the answer but to keep from Killing either of my ls turbo swap vehicles how does the fuel pressure regulator rating work. I run the Aeromotive 13109 I think or at least close to that part number and it's good to 70psi is that over all pressure or base pressure because if I run 58psi base pressure plus 20lbs of boost I'm over 70psi with a 1:1 boost refrence rise in pressure so did I mess up by using this regulator
