Default Mounting a walbro inline 255LPH pump, above or below tank?

I have a slight drama with mounting my walbro 255LPH fuel pump.
I know they work better lower then fuel level for gravity feed etc.

I can mount it lower then the fuel tank but it will be 2 foot away from the tank in front of the diff, so the fuel line will come out of the bottom of the tank and up and over the differential then back down to the pump.

Would this work or would that be the same as having the pump mounted above the tank (only other option) because the lines go up and over the diff?

Should of mentioned this is the only supply pump, there is no intank pump at all if that makes any difference?
