can anyone tell me how a car fills when the fuel pump is going out.

I'm pretty sure mine is going out as well. Then again, I'm not 100% positive that's the problem. My car whines/squeals on hot start ups. The squeal is definitly from the back half of the car and goes away after about 5 minutes of driving. Hopefully someone can chime in and give both of us a solid answer,

I had the same problem driving today. Sounds like the fuel pump is squealing. After reading a few other threads its sounds like it a common problem.
