Fuel Line Question
Ok do ya'll think its better to run -12 as far as possible then once I get close enough to the rails split into -10 or run -12 to near the front of the car then split off into -10 and run it up to the rails? So basically do ya'll think more -12 is good or more double -10? The straight -12 is a straight shot, but the double -10 is more volume. Thanks

Im no expert, but I would guess a -12 line from pump to rails would probably be fine for around 1500bhp, maybe more.
I would think a good -8 line would be enough for 1000bhp.

Cool
I am putting the -12 in and splitting into -10 to the rails, but was just trying to figure out when to split the line to go to the rails. Would more -12 be better or more -10? Cause its a single -12, but a double -10.
Thanks for the info, thats good to know that I will have my fuel lines covered.

Why will it lose pressure ?
A larger line should be less restrictive. Wether its air, water, fuel, electric...
It may take longer to fill it initially, but once thats taken care of, it shouldnt matter ??
The only difference will be the fuel travelling through the line will be moving slower, although the same volume of fuel will probably be flowing, as with say a -8 line.

My setup is -10 front to rear, a splitter about 10 inches from each end of the rail, then a -8 to each rail. Out the back of each rail I have a -6 to a regulator, then a -6 back to the tank. I should have gone with -8 return but I am not having any problems so I am leaving it.

Well hopefully the weldon 2025 and the 84lb injectors are enough.
So basically the line is so big that id doesnt matter where I split it at.
Cool thanks
